Askar Kazbekov (MASc Candidate)

Askar has graduated from Aerospace Option of Engineering Science at the University of Toronto in 2015. The topic of his research is the evolution of micro-scale turbulence through scalar fields of the flame at high turbulence intensities. In his work, Askar will try to obtain fine scale velocity measurements with sufficient spatial resolution using a long distance microscope in order to characterize the micro-scale turbulence and locate it within scalar field of a flame. This research aims to improve the state of knowledge in the field of turbulent combustion at engine relevant conditions.
